Omega watches have been manufactured successfully for over 150
years.

From its modest beginnings in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848, Louis Brandt
started the company that one day would merge with others to become the
worlds leading watch manufacturer.
Louis Brandt continued building watches relying on certain parts from other
craftsmen.
After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, were
ready to continue their fathers dream. These two men changed the Omega line
forever. In order to maintain quality they internalized all control and
manufacturing. In 1880 they decided to buy a small room and by years end
owned the whole building. This still remains the company headquarters, in
the Gurzelen district in Bienne.
Through the years the company has created a wide variety of styles. Using
technical innovation and a creative flair for design, Omega has consistently
remained on top as one of the worlds leading watch manufacturers.
